Image Capturing

This is the second or third day in a row now that I have learned something entirely new. For this assignment I captured my entire desktop as an image, then I pasted it to Microsoft Word 2003 and saved it as a word document. The image opens up with Microsoft Office Word and its size is 1.58 MB. Once my desktop image was pasted to Microsoft Word, I edited the image by making it thumbnail size, then I utilized the "word art" key and generated some text about the image of the wallpaper saved on my desktop. I currently cannot find the eyedropper or paintbrush tools, but I am going to continue to look for them. I am also working on figuring out a way to either place this image on my blog or create a link to it.
With regards to improving student learning, I believe this function can be very beneficial to all the students. For example, when students are assigned history assignments, they could select historical images from the Internet and paste them to a word document and write a description of the image and what part it played in history and all the students could see exactly what the student was talking about without using a textbook.
